'Doctor Strange' Set Photo Provides New Look at Sanctum Sanctorum
Movie

Another photo from the set of the upcoming film gives a look at a window of Stephen Strange's residence.

Following the latest concept art which features Stephen Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum in "Doctor Strange", Marvel co-president Louis D'Esposito has shared a new image from the set of the upcoming movie. The photo shows a big circular window inside the good doctor's secret place, which allows you to take a look outside the building.

Though the window seems to give a look at the skyline around Strange's home, which is located at 177A Bleecker Street, Greenwich Village, New York, the view is not real. It's actually a background created by the art team which is hung in the ceiling of the movie's set in England.

Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Stephen Strange, a neurosurgeon who loses the use of his hands after a severe accident. While traveling to Tibet, he encounters the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton), who turns him into a Sorcerer Supreme to defend the world against mystical threats.

The film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg and Mads Mikkelsen, who is believed to play the film's main villain. Directed by Scott Derrickson, "Doctor Strange" is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on November 4.
