Deadpool Gets Funnier Than Ever in Second Trailer
Movie

The second trailer for the upcoming superhero movie has arrived, giving fans some new footage that shows the titular hero's craziness as he fights against a number of bad guys.

AceShowbiz - The second trailer for "Deadpool" has arrived online. The new trailer sheds more light on the process of how Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson is transformed into a superhero with an accelerated healing power.

The trailer opens with Deadpool's ridiculous conversation with a taxi driver. It then continues with the Merc With a Mouth deafeating a group of villains as he says, "This is a different kind of superhero story." After diagnosed with terminal cancer, Wilson agrees to undergo a rogue experiment in order to be cured. After the experiment, he then emerges from a post-apocalyptic location and says, "Whatever they did to me, it made my body indestructible."

There are also some scenes that feature Carlysle while she is being kidnapped. Another interesting scene is when Deadpool, Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) engage in a big showdown at the end of the trailer.

Coming along with the second trailer is a new red band trailer, which more or less is the same with the former.

Previously on the 11th day of "12 Days of Deadpool", Hugh Jackman took to Twitter to tease fans with a fun Deadpool image along with a link for a Christmas Eve teaser. He shared a black-and-white photo of him showing off his adamantium claw, in which Deadpool hilariously leans his body as he strikes a pose. Jackman claimed that the eleventh day of the promotional campaign belonged to Wolverine.

Meanwhile, the Chrismas Eve teaser begins with someone saying, "T'was the night before Christmas and a good guy in red was hunting down bad guys and making them dead," followed by a scene in which the red-suited hero jumps off a bridge and sneaks into a car consisting of two bad guys.

The nearly-one-minute teaser shares some new footage, including the one featuring Wilson taking a selfie with his wife Vanessa Geraldine Carlysle a.k.a. Copycat (Morena Baccarin). He is also seen revealing his post-surgery face to someone in a car while saying, "Boom."

"Deadpool" tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Directed by Tim Miller, the movie is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on February 12, 2016.
