AceShowbiz - The Producers Guild of America has announced the TV nominees for the 27th annual PGA Awards. Drama category sees a tight race between "Game of Thrones", "Better Call Saul", "Homeland", "House of Cards" and "Mad Men".
"Modern Family" and "Veep" are strong contenders for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television, Comedy, up against "Inside Amy Schumer", "Silicon Valley" and "Transparent".
"The Amazing Race", "Dancing with the Stars", "Project Runway", "Top Chef" and "The Voice" are nominated for Outstanding Producer of Competition Television, while "The Colbert Report", "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" are among nominees for Outstanding Producer of Live Entertainment & Talk Television.
The 27th annual PGA Awards will be held Saturday, January 23, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Shonda Rhimes is among special honorees at the event as she's set to receive the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television.
The movie nominees will be announced on January 5.
