AceShowbiz - Netflix has released the first trailer for "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" sequel, "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny". While the plot details are still vague, the sneak-peek video does a good job in intriguing potential audience by sharing a glimpse of epic sword fights.
In this follow-up to Ang Lee's 2000 Oscar-winning movie, Michelle Yeoh reprises her role as Yu Shu Lien, who is entrusted with the protection of the legendary Green Destiny sword. "It took just one night to bring me back," she says in the video of what bringing her out of retirement.
Previously titled "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend", the sequel tells a story of lost love, young love, a legendary sword and one last opportunity at redemption, set against breathtaking action in an epic martial arts battle between good and evil that will decide the fate of the Martial World.
Donnie Yen, Harry Shum Jr. and more join the cast, while Yuen Wo Ping serves as director. The action drama film will be released on Netflix and hit select IMAX theaters on February 2016.
