AceShowbiz - With the first season of "Marvel's Jessica Jones" already released on Netflix, all eyes are now on the next Marvel-Netflix series "Luke Cage" which is currently filming. New photos from the set in New York City have emerged, showing Mike Colter as the titular hero strolling the streets of Harlem.
On Wednesday, December 3, he's filming his scenes with Rosario Dawson who reprises her "Daredevil" character Claire Temple, Simone Missick who plays Misty Knight, and Frank Whaley who stars as Detective Scarfe. In some pics, Claire is seen helping Scarfe, who is wounded in his stomach, walk. He later lies on the ground with Misty holding his hand while Luke is standing nearby.

"Luke Cage" will take place a few months after "Jessica Jones". "Luke Cage really hasn't figured out what he's doing. He's tending bar, he's bouncing around. And for good reason, he's a fugitive, he has some skeletons in his closet," Colter recently said of his character.
Also starring Mahershalalhashbaz Ali as Cottonmouth and Frankie Faison in an unknown role, the show will premiere in 2016.
