Italian Greyhounds Club of America defends Kylie against haters who blasted her for animal cruelty after she posted on Snapchat a video showing her skinny puppies.

AceShowbiz - Italian Greyhounds Club of America (IGCA) came to Kylie Jenner's defense after she was called out by haters for animal cruelty due to her skinny puppies. Experts in the dog lover organization told TMZ that it's normal for Italian greyhounds to be skinny.

The youngest daughter of the Jenner-Kardashian clan received social media backlash after she posted on Snapchat a video of her playing with her puppies Norman and Bambi. Her puppies looked so lean to the point that their bones were apparent on their skin.

One user who was seemingly unimpressed with the dogs' condition wrote, "Disgusting...the dogs are drastically underweight...shame on the owner!" Another user rudely commented, "Holy s**t those dogs are starving! Please feed your dogs you stupid b***h @kyliejenner." Furthermore, another user even said, "Why hasn't anyone reported her yet for animal malnutrition."

In response to the backlash against Kylie, a spokesperson for IGCA explained that Italian greyhounds should be lean because they're bred for running. As a consequence, a healthy Italian greyhound should show "a hint of 3 ribs and its hip bones." Thus, Kylie's puppies which looked skinny could be considered perfectly healthy for their breed.

Later on, the organization's rep pointed out an image taken from the aforementioned video. The image showed the puppies wearing accessories covering their chest parts. Some people claimed that the accessories would hurt the puppies and make them suffocate. The rep said that the image was misleading given that they "could be taking a big breath which would exaggerate the rib cage."
