As previously teased, Warner Bros. released new footage of the upcoming superhero movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" on Monday night's episode of "Gotham", and now the video has made its way online. The short teaser opens with Batman (Ben Affleck) chained up in what appears to be an underground base along with two other captives by his sides.

The nearly-one-minute video then continues showing Superman (Henry Cavill) making an entrance before he unmasks the Caped Crusader. The full new trailer will debut on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Wednesday, December 2.

"Dawn of Justice" sees the Gotham City's vigilante and the Metropolis' savior at war with one another. The movie also stars Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. It also introduces Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa's Aquaman.

Zack Snyder serves behind the lens with the script he wrote alongside Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. Produced by Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder, the upcoming superhero movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on March 25, 2016.
