"The Walking Dead" isn't airing new episodes until 2016, but Negan's arrival in the second half of the season has been teased in a prologue for the next chapter. Released after the midseason finale aired on Sunday, November 29, the 2-minute clip doesn't feature Jeffrey Dean Morgan who will play the comic book villain, but introduces his gang.

In the said video, Daryl, Abraham and Sasha encounter a group of bikers who block the road. The leader of the group tells the three to get out of their car. "You know, if you want to resist, try something. It's a choice, I guess. But we will end your asses. Split you right in two - straight through to the sinuses," the man says, sounding more like a threat.

After Daryl and friends exit the car, the man blocking the road asks them to hand over their weapons. When Daryl demands an explanation, the man adds, "Your weapons, your truck, the fuel in your truck, if you got mints in your glove compartment, if you got corn underneath the seat, change in the seats, hell, the seats themselves, the floor mats, your maps, little stash of emergency napkins you got there in the console. None of those things are yours anymore."

"Whose are they?" Sasha asks. The man replies, "Your property now belongs to Negan."

Morgan recently talked about his upcoming appearance on the show. "You may see me this season and then next year you'll see me, as well," he said on "The Chew". "If you're familiar with the comic books, it's a role of a guy named Negan who sort of just kicks everybody's ass."
