Khloe Kardashian is "extra thankful" in this Thanksgiving. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is planning to have a "hospital thanksgiving" with Lamar Odom after hosting her family for a traditional holiday meal at home.
Khloe writes in a post on her website, "Having intimate family time is so, so great and I'm thankful that I get to experience it with all of the incredible people in my life. After our family Thanksgiving dinner is over, I invite friends to join, especially friends who don't have family around. So we have a family Thanksgiving, a friends Thanksgiving, and this year I will also be having a hospital Thanksgiving."
"Thanksgiving is a time to gather around loved ones. Whether they are blood or bond...to be grateful for all that we have been so abundantly blessed with and also to spare a few thoughts and prayers for those not so lucky," she continues, "No matter where you are in life you can always find something to be thankful for. My wish is that this mentality goes beyond Thanksgiving. Try practicing being thankful daily and I believe that optimism and gratitude will manifest greatness!"
Khloe posts on Instagram a photo of delicious-looking Thanksgiving desserts along with caption, "I am sooooo proud of myself lol can I say that??? I filmed on a tripod, in my kitchen a lot of me baking and prepping for today so I will have that up on my app soon!!! I love testing myself and seeing what I can accomplish and actually make successfully! Now let's pray it tastes as great as they look! This monkey bread is going to be so f***ing bomb."
She adds a picture of her Thanksgiving table decoration full with white roses and candles along with a heartfelt message. "The key to contentment lies solely in being thankful for what one has been blessed with. Stop looking at what you don't have and pay attention to the blessings around you. Manifest beauty in your life. Only then will one be blessed with more," she writes, "Happy Thanksgiving my loves!!!"
