The 24-year-old singer uploaded a photo which shows himself taking a selfie with Zellweger. He hinted that he had just spent a day filming the third installment of "Bridget Jones" movie franchise. "Spent the day being an actor in the new Bridget Jones movie," Sheeran captioned the black-and-white photo. "Loved it, you're gonna love it too."

"Bridget Jones's Baby" marks Zellweger's third time to reprise her role as the British woman following 2001's "Bridget Jones's Diary" and 2004's "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason". The upcoming movie also stars Patrick Dempsey as a man who will take on a new role in Jones' life.

Sharon Maguire, who helmed the first movie, returns to direct the upcoming film with a script she co-wrote with David Nicholls. The dramedy will arrive stateside on September 16, 2016.
