After a week of teasing, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello finally dropped their collaboration "I Know What You Did Last Summer" earlier this week. They later returned on Friday, November 20 with the song's official music video.
The clip features the two teens walking towards each other while emotionally singing about how she breaks his heart by cheating on him and how he tells her that he knows she's been unfaithful to him. They walk through the wind, snow and rain, but can't seem to reach each other.
"I Know What You Did Last Summer" will appear on the re-release of Mendes' chart-topping debut album, "Handwritten". Recently, he and Cabello revealed that they wrote the duet while at one of the shows on Taylor Swift's "1989" tour.
"Been working on this song for months now and am so excited about it !" he said in a tweet last week. "It's a secret song from Handwritten Revisited that I co-wrote with @camilacabello97!" Cabello said in her own Twitter post, "We wrote this together backstage at one of Taylor's 1989 shows out of a random jam session."
