Charlie Sheen's rollercoaster life would be recounted in a book. The actor's manager Mark Burg has been meeting publishers to strike a deal on a memoir that will detail Sheen's career and personal life including his HIV diagnosis, ET reported.
Sheen liberated himself when appearing on "Today" earlier this week and telling host Matt Lauer that he had been HIV positive for the last four years. "I think I released myself from this prison today," the 50-year-old actor said.
Sheen claimed he had been extorted for millions by those who knew about his diagnosis. "I have to put a stop to this barrage of attacks of sub-truths and very harmful and mercurial stories that are about me that are threatening the health of so many others," he said during the interview.
Apart from the shocking revelation, Sheen also talked about his battle with depression. "I was so depressed by the position I was in. I was doing a lot of drugs and I was making really bad decisions. That part I know 100 percent," he told Lauer.
For all the ups and downs, it's no brainer that Sheen's story would make his book a bestseller. Us Weekly's source said Burg has been "buried with offers" from publishers asking Sheen to tell his story.
