Jamie Foxx's Daughter, Corinne Foxx, Named Miss Golden Globe 2016

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced that the 20-year-old will assist at the Golden Globe ceremony that will be held in January.

AceShowbiz - Corinne Foxx, the daughter of Jamie Foxx, has been named Miss Golden Globe 2016. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association made the announcement on Tuesday, November 17.

"Throughout the years I've grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor," said Corinne at the first party of the Awards Season. "I'm honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he's been recognized for some of his greatest accomplishments."

The daughter of the 2004 Best Actor winner is a senior at the University of Southern California and was recently involved in a campaign for The Icing. "Like her father, she leads a fine example of following her dreams and we can't wait to see what she does next," said Lorenzo Soria, president of the HFPA.

Selected every year, Mr. or Miss Golden Globe is the offspring, the son or daughter, of a respected figure in Hollywood entertainment industry. The chosen one will assist at the awards ceremony.

Previous honorees include Bruce Willis's daughter Rumer Willis, Kelsey Grammer's daughter Greer Grammer, Kevin Bacon's daughter Sosie Bacon, Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca Eastwood, Bruce Dern's daughter Laura Dern and Tippi Hedren's daughter Melanie Griffin.

The 73rd Annual Golden Globes will be held on January 10, 2016 and will be hosted by Ricky Gervais.
