An eagle-eyed fan has pointed out the gaffes on the favorite TV show in which Aniston and Cox were replaced by their stand-ins in separate scenes.

Even "Friends" could make some mistakes. Who would've guessed that more than a decade since the show last aired on NBC, someone just found out these errors. An eagle-eyed fan recently spotted the doubles for Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox in scenes from one of the favorite TV shows.

In "Friends" season 9, episode 15 titled "The One with the Mugging", Aniston's character Rachel Green talks to Joey (Matt LeBlanc) about his upcoming audition. Joey later turns to Monica (Cox) who is off-screen and the girl standing next to him is not Aniston.

Aniston was replaced briefly by another actress who had noticeably darker hair. To make the mistake even more obvious, the double wore a different shirt than the one donned by Rachel.

The second mistake is found in episode "The One With Rachel's Date" from season 8. This time, Cox's stand-in appears on screen when Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) and Monica hang out at their favorite coffee joint, the Central Perk.

When the camera pans to Phoebe, another actress who's not Cox sits on the spot where Monica was on. The double who certainly didn't look like Cox also sported a different hairstyle to Cox's.
