The new plot description suggests that the DC supervillain is 'manipulating' both Batman and Superman for his own twisted ends.

AceShowbiz - While fans wonder who will win the battle in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", a new plot synopsis for the film has surfaced online. The new synopsis reveals that Lex Luthor may play an important role in the upcoming movie, suggesting that he can be the one who makes the conflict between the titular heroes get worse.

The new synopsis is written on the website for Odeon Cinemas, one of the largest movie theater chains in the U.K. "At long last, see Batman and Superman square off against each other in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', an epic superhero showdown which will change both their lives forever," so reads the synopsis in the site's "About This Film" section.

It then hints that Luthor will "manipulate" the title superheroes. It is stated that "Clark Kent doesn't trust Gotham's mysterious masked vigilante. Bruce Wayne doesn't trust the alien who nearly destroyed Metropolis. And Lex Luthor, who hates Superman more than anyone, is manipulating both of them for his own twisted ends."

The site additionally asks fans to pick their side, "Choose your side: the Man of Steel or the Dark Knight? Learn the answer to the age-old question - who would win? - in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'."

"Dawn of Justice" will introduce Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa's Aquaman. The movie stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Directed by Zack Snyder, the superhero movie is due to open in the U.S. on March 25, 2016.
