Barbara is sent to assassinate her ex-fiance Jim in the next episode of the Batman prequel series.

AceShowbiz - Barbara (Erin Richards) has an important mission when "Gotham" returns with a new episode next week. In a preview for the upcoming outing, she surrenders herself as Theo Galavan (James Frain) sends her after Jim Gordon (Benjamin McKenzie).
While Barbara's intention isn't clear at first, Harvey (Donal Logue) believes that it is a trap. Barbara tells Jim that she wants to show him something and he takes her somewhere in a police car. Their car gets hit but it appears that it's part of Barbara's plan as Jim is later taken to a church and is tied to a chair, while she dresses in a wedding gown.
"Tonight's the Night" airs Monday, November 9 at 8/7c on FOX. Theo tries to make a business deal with Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz). Barnes (Michael Chiklis) and Bullock are hot on Barbara's trail, and Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) has a run-in with a familiar face.
In other news, Tommy Flanagan's role on "Gotham" has been revealed. The "Sons of Anarchy" alum will play The Knife, whom Comicbook.com describes as "one of Gotham's most dangerous denizens. His charming, stylish shell and good humor mask a remorseless hitman whose skills are at the service of the highest bidder. He will sit with you, laugh with you, and then cut your throat."
The actor confirmed his casting last October, but didn't mention the character he would portray. His character will make his debut in the 10th episode of "Gotham" season 2.
