Fans believe the album is set for release on December 4 after spotting the date on a mysterious poster with a picture related to the band.

AceShowbiz - Coldplay may have set a release date for their new album. There have been speculations that the record, which the band has confirmed will be called "A Head Full of Dreams", will arrive on December 4 after a mysterious poster was spotted on a London Underground platform.

The said poster features a rainbow-colored "flower of life" geometric pattern drawn above the aforementioned date. Fans believed the ad had something to do with Coldplay after noticing that the same shape was seen printed on the T-shirt worn by frontman Chris Martin during the band's performance at Global Citizen Festival in New York last month.

"A Head Full of Dreams" is planned to serve as a follow-up to last year's "Ghost Stories". The upcoming album has been scheduled for release before 2015 ends, though the band has never given an exact date.

When revealing the title in an interview last year, Martin and Co. said the project would be the group's last. "It's our seventh thing and the way we look at it is like the last 'Harry Potter' book or something like that," the vocalist said back then.

"Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something... Now we're making thing that sounds different and it's a very fun time to be in our band. I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing or else we wouldn't put everything into it," he added.
