Movie

The seventh installment of the blockbuster franchise reportedly features the Jedi master, who will appear as a Force ghost.

AceShowbiz - Fans have already known that "Star Wars: The Fsorce Awakens" brings back some familiar faces like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, BB-8 droid and Chewbacca. A new rumor from Star Wars News Net says that there is one more classic character that will appear in the seventh episode of the "Star Wars" saga.

The site says that the Jedi master Yoda will show up in the upcoming movie. They're pretty sure that the report is quite legitimate as they claim that they get the information from an insider who is involved in the audio dubbing of the film.

Yoda's inclusion in "The Force Awakens" makes a lot of sense indeed. Considering that he has died in "Return of the Jedi", Yoda will presumably appear as a Force ghost. Frank Oz, who recently returned briefly to voice Yoda in a season one episode of "Star Wars: Rebels", stated that he would love to voice Yoda again in future Star Wars projects.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, "The Force Awakens" brings back Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. The film also stars Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. The sci-fi movie is due to arrive Stateside on December 18.
