Movie

Becoming one of guest speakers in a ceremony to honor the late Batman co-creator Bob Kane, director Zack Snyder slipped an opinion about the new Batmobile, which was also displayed at the event. The director said that the new version of the Batman vehicle was "purpose-built" and would perform new actions in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

"The new Batmobile is super-fast. It's purpose-built, which is what I like," Snyder said during his speech. "We imagine that Batman built it, over time, with parts from Wayne Industries or something. He made it specifically for the job of fighting crime."

When asked whether the new Batmobile would do something that has never been done before in previous Batman movies, Snyder firmly confirmed that fans would see something new in "Batman v Superman". "Yeah, I think you will!" Snyder exclaimed. "I'm not gonna give it away, but yeah, it does a lot of cool stuff in the movie."

Based on DC Comic books, "Dawn of Justice" features the conflict between the titular superheroes and how the likes of Jason Momoa's Aquaman and Gal Gadot's Wonder Women help the mighty heroes find the solution. Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller also star in the movie which is due to be released in the U.S. on March 25, 2016.

At the event attended by Snyder, Kane posthumously received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, October 22. DC Entertainment co-publisher Jim Lee attended the event and became another guest speaker. Adam West, the actor of ABC's 1960s Batman TV series was also invited, but he was unable to attend.
