Cuoco stated in her papers that spousal support was payable and terminable as set forth from their prenuptial agreement, which was signed by the couple on November 20, 2013. Sweeting is seeking spousal support from "The Big Bang Theory" star and requesting the court's ability to award support to Cuoco to be terminated. While Cuoco said attorney's fees would be paid by both parties according to their prenup, he wanted her to pay for his.

In the court documents obtained by E! Online, Sweeting also cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason of the split. However, he noted that the day Cuoco filed for her papers, September 25, is the date of separation. Cuoco stated September 3 in her filing.

Sweeting and Cuoco decided to split after 21 months of marriage. "Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage," her rep said in a statement in September. "They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."
