The FOX hit series will bring in Adam Rodriguez and Ne-Yo for the fifth episode in its current season.

AceShowbiz - "Empire" will welcome Adam Rodriguez and Ne-Yo when it returns next week. The two's cameo appearance was teased in a sneak-peek shared online right after the show aired its latest on Wednesday, October 14.
Rodriguez will play Laz who's going to team up with Cookie and Anika to throw "Cookie Lyon's Block Party", an event planned by the ladies to launch their new company, Lyon Dynasty. There will be performances from their artists as well as the premiere of Dynasty anthem written by Hakeem.
Ne-Yo, meanwhile, will play himself. He'll help Jamal work on his music. According to its official synopsis, the next episode will also see Hakeem starting "a tender romance with the lead singer of his girl group" while Andre "takes steps to rid his soul of past sins."
Titled "Be True", the fifth episode in the current second season of "Empire" is set to air Wednesday, October 21 on FOX.
