An official music video for Joe Jonas' new band DNCE's debut single "Cake by the Ocean" is underway. Before dropping it in its entirety on Friday, October 16, the group shared on Tuesday, October 13 a couple of previews via their social media pages.
The first sneak-peek debuted on Instagram opens with a number of bikini-clad girls racing towards a giant piece of cake literally placed by the ocean. They then have a huge food fight while the crowd cheers them on and Jonas performs alongside his bandmates.
"FIRST LOOK FOR OUR "CAKE BY THE OCEAN" MUSIC VIDEO. A LIL MESSY," read a caption for the clip. DNCE treated fans to a longer preview of the music video through another teaser shared on YouTube.
"Cake by the Ocean" is the first song to have surfaced from the four-piece's newly-announced EP "Swaay". The record is set to come out on October 23 via Republic Records.
