Lionsgate has released the first clip from "The Last Witch Hunter" ahead of its release date. Starring Vin Diesel, the film follows an 800-year-old witch hunter who was cursed to be immortal after he defeated Queen Witch.

The nearly-two-minute clip begins with Kaulder (Diesel) chained up by a sorcerer as he starts to strike the immortal witch. After Kauler manages to unchain himself, he fights against the sorcerer while uncontrollably thrown into the present and past. "After 800 years, you run out of time," says the sorcerer before mysteriously swollen by magical plants.

The movie brings an idea that witches still exist among human in modern world. They "intent on unleashing the Black Death upon the world. Armies of witch hunters battled the unnatural enemy across the globe for centuries, including Kaulder, a valiant warrior who managed to slay the all-powerful Queen Witch, decimating her followers in the process. However, unbeknownst to Kaulder, the Queen Witch is resurrected and seeks revenge on her killer causing an epic battle that will determine the survival of the human race."
