Murphy reveals he has officially extended an offer to GaGa to have her in the cast again for the next installment of the FX series.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Murphy is apparently so amazed by Lady GaGa's "brilliant" performance on "American Horror Story: Hotel" that he wants her back in the sixth season. The series co-creator reveals he has officially asked the singer-turned-actress to join the next installment.

"Lady Gaga is so brilliant in AHS Season 5 that yesterday I officially asked her to join Season 6," Murphy tweets, adding, "Say yes @ladygaga!" GaGa hasn't responded to Murphy's offer. Should she accept it, the Mother Monster could be the next Jessica Lange / Lea Michele / Emma Roberts, who have been the leading ladies on Murphy's TV series.

The 29-year-old singer recently hinted that she's interested in taking another acting gig after being part of "AHS: Hotel". "I think I'd like to do like one great acting project a year," she told E! News. "I think one a year would be great. You know, I'd really like to do a film now. I'm ready to do a film. But it's about the right people, the right project."

She went on sharing, "I want to take some time to write something... I want to make a great piece. It's just so not important to just be in acting and music and be that person that does both things. Just having that on my roster is not important to me. I really genuinely love it and I love writing songs, so the future for me is very good."

On "Hotel", GaGa plays Countess Elizabeth, a blood-hungry character who is described as a very wealthy social doyenne consumed with art and fashion and people. She has bought the titular hotel which was built by Evan Peters' psychotic James March in 1930.

The new installment of the anthology series will kick off Wednesday, October 7 on FX. Other stars in the cast include Matthew Bomer, Angela Bassett, Naomi Campbell, Kathy Bates, Finn Wittrock, Denis O'Hare and Max Greenfield.
