Vin Diesel Hints That F. Gary Gray Will Direct 'Furious 8'

The Dominic Toretto depicter fuels rumors that the 'Straight Outta Compton' helmer has landed a job to direct the 'Furious 7' sequel.

AceShowbiz - Did Vin Diesel confirm that F. Gary Gray will sit behind the lens for the upcoming "Fast and Furious 8"? The Dominic Toretto depicter posted on Facebook a picture of him with the "Straight Outta Compton" helmer.

No caption is attached to the photo but Gray is rumored to be a frontrunner for the job. Other directors reportedly eying the "Furious 7" sequel include Louis Leterrier ("Now You See Me") and Adam Wingard ("The Guest").

Furious 8" is due to hit U.S. theaters on April 14, 2017. If Gray is tapped for the flick, it will be his reunion with Diesel after their collaboration in 2003's action movie "A Man Apart". Gray is also no stranger to a car-themed movie as he directed 2003's "The Italian Job".
