The 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' alum will voice the Seventh Sister Inquisitor on the Disney XD animated series.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Michelle Gellar's "Star Wars Rebels" role is revealed. In a sneak-peek video for the upcoming season 2, the actress introduces the character that she will play, which is the Seventh Sister Inquisitor.
"All Inquisitors want to mess with the Jedi," she says. "That's why we're put on this Earth. Galaxy, I should say!" The "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alum reveals that her character is aiming to hunt down the rebels and "kill them all."
Gellar joins her husband Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar, Taylor Gray and David Oyelowo in the cast. Since she has now become a part of the show, she is set to attend a panel for the animated series at New York Comic-Con on Thursday, October 8.
The second season of "Star Wars Rebels" will premiere October 14 on Disney XD. It will feature Darth Vader and Ahsoka Tano.
Executive producer Dave Filoni said at the "Star Wars" Celebration in April of what to expect in the new season, "We will be addressing Ezra's parents to some degree. Now he has this other family [on the Ghost], what happened to his mom and dad? Nice thing about season two, you get a broader look at all the characters."
