AceShowbiz - The first teaser for "Ip Man 3" has surfaced online. The third installment of the Hong Kong action movie franchise follows Yip Man a.k.a. Ip Man, a Chinese martial artist who is successful to make his students become martial arts masters.
The trailer shows Donnie Yen returning as the titular character and fighting Mike Tyson, who portrays the main antagonist in the movie. Mike's character is said to be a property developer who is also a street fighter. Although most of the footage in the teaser is taken from the first two movies, it does give some new footage like the one showing Tyson's character confronting Yip.
The film is based on the real story of Yip, who is best known for teaching Bruce Lee. Lee is rumored to appear in the movie through the power of CGI recreation, despite attempts from Lee's estate to halt that plan.
Wilson Yip serves behind the lense with the script written by Edmond Wong. The film also includes Chinese actors Lynn Hung, Zhang Jin, Patrick Tam and Karena Ng.
