Chet Hanks explains that having a famous father makes it difficult for him to find a place where he could fit in.

AceShowbiz - Tom Hanks's troubled son, Chet, comes clean about his struggle with drugs. He posted a series of videos on Instagram and said in one of them, "I've been in a rehab, right? I'm just trying to get my sh*t together. And I'm doing pretty damn good."

"A couple of months ago, I was selling coke, doing coke until I couldn't even snort it up my nose anymore because it was so clogged. I even smoked crack," he opened up. "If I can change you can change. There is a solution."

"At the end of the day all the stupid sh*t I was doing that's not who I am, that's not who I want to be," he said. "It's been a long journey for me discovering who I am because of all the pressures that I've dealt with in my life, being the son of my dad and everything and just trying to find where I fit in."

"I just had to really take a look at myself and my life and the way sh*t was going and all the crazy, stupid sh*t I was doing," he said. "Just finally admit to myself that it wasn't working and I had to try something new and that thing was to not do any drugs or alcohol."

Chet also apologized for using N-word in his song. "I know a lot of y'all kinda understood the point I was trying to make, but the truth is it's not my place to speak on that," the aspiring rapper said. "And I'm genuinely sorry for the people I offended."

Saying that "there's nothing glorious about bringing yourself closer to death and prison," the 25-year-old man urged others struggling with similar issues to seek help like he did, "If you're struggling with this sh*t take yourself to a meeting, you know? Call some people."
