The 'Deadpool' actor hilariously opts to use duct tape to assemble all parts of an IKEA crib as he didn't manage to put them together using screws.

AceShowbiz - New dad Ryan Reynolds apparently has to learn how to assemble a crib for his baby. In a new video for GQ posted earlier this week, the "Deadpool" actor had a hard time assembling a Hensvik crib from IKEA and finally decided to use duct tape to put the parts of the crib together.

The clip began with the actor unloading the contents from a box. He took a glance at the manual and noted, "Easy." Later on, Reynolds looked confused with all the stuff he had from the box. He then called the store, "Hi, there. I'm calling about your - the Hensvik baby crib. No, there's no problem with it. I think the biggest issue I'm having with it is that the crib didn't come assembled."

"Just an enormous amount of hardware that's come with this unit, and I've gotta be honest with you - I'm having a real hard time putting this thing together," Reynolds confessed. "Besides a slow descent into alcoholism, I'm just really having trouble finding all the screws and the pieces that go with it," he said, before exaggerating it. "I mean, there's gotta be 100,000 pieces."

"I'm just wondering if there's a representative, or maybe five, that could come by and make this happen for me," Reynolds requested. Apparently, his request was unsuccessful as he then said, "And a good day to you, too," and threw his cell phone.

The 38-year-old actor then tried to assemble the crib by himself. At one point, Reynolds muttered,"IKEA. Swedish for f*** you." The actor drank a bottle of supposed booze while assembling all the parts together. As he didn't manage to assemble them with screws, he hilariously decided to use duct tape. He wrapped every side of the crib to the point that they became a firm crib.
