Donald Trump Says He Has Bought NBC's Stake in Miss Universe Organization

The former 'Celebrity Apprentice' judge reveals that he has become the sole owner of the beauty pageant organization after purchasing NBC's share.

AceShowbiz - %cDonald Trump% claims he has bought Miss Universe Organization and now has a full control of the beauty pageant group. The Republican presidential hopeful previously owned 50|percent| stake in the organization and NBC had the rest.

The business mogul also informs his Twitter followers that he is settling lawsuits against the company. "Just purchased NBC's half of The Miss Universe Organization and settled all lawsuits against them. Now own 100 percent -- stay tuned!" he wrote.

NBC cut ties with Trump and fires him from "The Celebrity Apprentice" after he called Mexican immigrants "killers and rapists" in his stance against illegal immigrants. Univision and Macy's also distanced themselves from the businessman.

In response, Trump sues Univision for $500 million and bans the company's employees from his properties. He threatens to file a lawsuit against NBC as well. As for Macy's, he claims it was he, not the retailer, who terminated their partnership.
