The first official trailer for political drama "Our Brand Is Crisis" has arrived online. The film is based on Rachel Boynton's documentary film of the same name about the American political campaign strategies used by a U.S. political consultancy in the Bolivian presidential election in 2002.

Sandra Bullock stars as 'Calamity' Jane Bodine, a political consultant who retired after a humiliating setback. Bodine is forced to get back in action as she is hired by Pedro Gallo (Joaquim de Almeida), an infamous Bolivian president, who wants to be reelected.

As Bodine accepts the mission in South America, she eventually finds out that the one behind her opponent is her biggest rival Pat Candy (Billy Bob Thornton). "I thought you retired or something," Candy tells Bodine when they meet. The trailer then continues with a series of events in which Bodine arranges plenty of strategies for Gallo to win the election.

George Clooney and Grant Heslov produce the movie while David Gordon Green serves behind the lens. Other names in the cast are Anthony Mackie, Scoot McNairy, Zoe Kazan, Ann Dowd, Reynaldo Pacheco, Dominic Flores, Louis Arcella and Octavio Gomez Berrios. "Our Brand Is Crisis" is set to debut this week at the Toronto International Film Festival before having a U.S. wide release on October 30.
