Kanye West played a surprise wedding singer at former music executive Steve Stoute's wedding over the Labor Day weekend in New York City. In a short video posted on Maxwell's Instagram, the "FourFiveSeconds" rapper is seen joining Maxwell and Nas onstage.

According to the caption of Maxwell's video, the R&B singer was brought on board by Nas to serenade the couple on the Sunday, September 6 celebration. That's when West jumped up and delivered a slow jam freestyle in front of other famous guests, including Jay-Z, Beyonce Knowles, LeBron James and his wife Savannah.

West attended the wedding with his wife Kim Kardashian. The pregnant reality TV star took to her Instagram to share a picture of their looks for the occasion. She wore a black cape dress by Valentino, showing her huge baby bump.

Later that night, West received from a fan a portrait of his late mother Donda holding his daughter North. He was smiling as he accepted the gift outside his home.
