Katy Perry was apparently among the revelers at the Burning Man in Nevada this weekend. She shared on Instagram a video from the Black Rock Desert event, showing her attempt to ride a segway in the sand. "Obvious first time burner alert," she wrote.
The pop singer wore a thick fur coat over her dress, boots, oversized goggles, and a mask, making her look like a character from the wasteland of "Mad Max: Fury Road". She lost her balance when taking her scooter for a spin in front of an art installation.
Another celebrity attending the desert art and music festival was Susan Sarandon who has also been documenting her experience from the event on Instagram. On Saturday, she paid tribute to her late friend and LSD advocate, Timothy Leary. She led a march carrying his ashes into a temporary church which was going to be set on fire after the "man."
