AceShowbiz - Jay Electronica had some words for reigning rappers at a recent show in London. During the gig at XOYO Club last week, he felt the need to remind his competitors in the game that he's still "the God of hip-hop" despite the fact that he hasn't put out much new music in the past few years.
As seen in a video which has just surfaced online, the 38-year-old spitter even threw shade at Drake and J. Cole while making the declaration. "Jay Electronica is the God of Hip-Hop. You might be the 6 God, but I am the God," he said, referring to Drizzy.
He went on to take a shot at Cole. He stopped the DJ playing Skepta's "Shutdown" and said, "I'm sorry, but J. Cole ain't got bars like this. I'm sorry, whoever your favorite rapper is, they all know that I'm the God."
It's still unclear what the diss was exactly for. Drake, who just came out as the winner in his beef with Meek Mill, as well as Cole haven't responded to Jay Electronica's declaration.
