While Hugh Jackman is preparing for his last performance in "The Wolverine 3", he teases fans with more information about the upcoming movie. Talking on the Sydney Confidential podcast, Jackman opened up about some top requests that fans made during his recent call for the final Wolverine movie.

"[There were] Lots of calls for Victor Creed to come back," Jackman said, referring to Wolverine's main enemy, Sabretooth. The character was introduced in the first "X-Men" film, played by Tyler Mane, and reappeared in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", played by Liev Schreiber.

Jackman also revealed another popular request, saying, "The words 'berserker rage' came up a lot." He added, "If you know Wolverine, you'll understand." "Berserker rage" is a term from the comic books where the animalistic side of Wolverine takes over in the heat of the moment and he becomes a violent creature which endangers everyone without exception.

Since the third "Wolverine" movie is rumored to be based on "Old Man Logan" storyline, it is very likely to see the "berserker rage" appearing in the movie. The "Old Man Logan" features the clawed-mutant in his twilight age and he has given up the Wolverine mantle and retired. If the "berserker rage" really appears in the upcoming film, he will be a perfect reason why Logan retired. In the comic books, Wolverine is tricked during an attack on Professor Xavier's school, and instead of helping his team, he transforms himself into "berserker rage" and kills all of them.

Besides Jackman, Patrick Stewart is confirmed to take part in the last installment of "The Wolverine" movie franchise, reprising his role as Professor Charles Xavier. Directed by James Mangold, the mutant movie will premiere in U.S. theaters on March 3, 2017.
