Mysterious Drama 'Louder Than Bombs' Gets First Teaser

Jesse Eisenberg stars as a sociology professor who visited his father and brother three years after his mom died.

AceShowbiz - The first teaser for drama "Louder Than Bombs" has arrived. Starring Jesse Eisenberg, the movie centers on a family dealing with the sudden death of its beloved mother.

The teaser highlights the scenes where a father (Gabriel Byrne) tries to get along with his two sons following the death of his wife Isabelle Reed (Isabelle Huppert). It also gives a look at Eisenberg as a sociology professor who's visiting his father and teenage brother (Devin Druid) three years after the tragic accident killed her mom. "I wanted to know if you ever think about mom," Eisenberg's character asks his brother.

According to the official synopsis, "an upcoming exhibition celebrating photographer Isabelle Reed three years after her untimely death, brings her eldest son Jonah back to the family house - forcing him to spend more time with his father Gene and withdrawn younger brother Conrad than he has in years. With the three of them under the same roof, Gene tries desperately to connect with his two sons, but they struggle to reconcile their feelings about the woman they remember so differently."

The film previously premiered at Cannes and will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. Following the Cannes premiere, there are three clips which surfaced. Each of clips captures the relationships between two siblings, mom and son as well as father and son.

Directed by Norwegian director Joachim Trier ("Oslo, August 31st"), "Louder Than Bombs" will open in Norway in October, and is set for a U.S. release in the spring of 2016.
