Movie

Check out chef Adam Jones (Cooper) who tries to reach his goal of having his restaurant receive three Michelin stars.

AceShowbiz - The first teaser trailer for chef movie "Burnt" has arrived. Making its way out via "Today" show, the teaser gives a first look at Bradley Cooper as a professional chef.

The teaser debuted on Monday, July 10 with Cooper giving introduction before the clip started. "I just want to say I'm excited to show you guys the trailer for movie 'Burnt' about a chef who's renowned and lost everything and tried to find a way back up. So, I hope you enjoy it, thanks guys," Cooper says preceeding the preview.

Cooper stars as Adam Jones, a chef who lives a perfect life before his career crumbles away and he is on an attempt to get back his past glory. The trailer opens with Jones explaining his ambition about his restaurant, "I don't want my restaurant to be a place where you come and eat. I want people to sit at that table and be sick with longing."

At one point, the video implies that Jones may have had some drug problems in the past. He says that he has been "sniffing, snorting and injecting all the time." However, he is now focused on his new restaurant and tries to rebuild it in order to receive three Michelin stars.

The film has undergone a couple of title changes. Its first title was "The Chef", but it was changed to "Adam Jones" to avoid confusion with Jon Favreau's "Chef (2014)". "Burnt" seems to be an appropriate title since the movie depicts the personal failings and troubles the main character is dealing with.

Cooper is joined by the likes of Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Daniel Bruhl, Matthew Rhys, Uma Thurman and Emma Thompson. John Wells ("August: Osage County") is directing with a script by Steven Knight ("Locke", "Peaky Blinders") and Michael Kalesniko ("Iron Sky", "Private Parts"). "Burnt" will open in the U.S. on October 23.
