Taylor Swift has picked "Wildest Dream" as the next official single off her blockbuster "1989" album. The country-turned-pop superstar announced the news in a Twitter post she sent out on Tuesday night, August 4.

"Just wanted to let you know that the next single from 1989 will be......... Wildest Dreams," she told her 61 million followers. The song will be the fifth single off Swift's 2014 album, following up "Shake It Off", "Blank Space", "Bad Blood" and "Style" which all reached the Top 10 of Billboard Hot 100. The former three titles even peaked at the chart's No. 1.

"1989", Swift's first pop effort, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 following its release in October 2014. The album spent multiple weeks atop the list and has never left the Top 10. It's currently sitting at No. 4.

Swift has been headlining her "1989" world tour in support of the massively successful album, which Nielsen Music says has sold a total of 5.1 million copies in the U.S.
