The new song inspired by the 'figure of 8' in voguing is expected to appear on the British singer's new EP, which has yet to be announced.

FKA twigs is back with a new song. The British singer gave Zane Lowe the green light to premiere the dark and beautiful track called "Figure 8" off her new EP on his Beats 1 Radio show on Monday, August 3.
In an interview with the radio host, twigs revealed that she wrote the song during a period of confusion that came after she put out her critically-acclaimed "LP1" album last year. "I was just feeling actually quite sad and I was feeling a bit lost," she said. "It's difficult, like, when you release your first record you kind of get thrown into this weird world."
While going through that period, she went to New York City and took voguing lessons. The dance was what inspired her new song. "Every hand movement that you do in voguing is a figure of 8, and that is eternity," she explained. "Every single move has to flow into the other like the eternal move that never stops moving."
Twigs' new EP, on which the new song will be featured, has yet to have a title or release date. It's also expected to feature "Glass & Patron" that came out earlier this year.
