Joe Jackson has been released from intensive care as he is recovering from heart attacks in Brazil. According to a scoop from Us Weekly, the Jackson patriarch has been transferred to a regular room at the Albert Einstein Sao Paulo hospital.

Joe is reportedly regaining his motor skills and starting to walk with assistance. He is expected to fly back home with his daughter Janet Jackson who canceled rehearsals for her tour to be by her dad's side. He will be transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles.

"Joe had a stroke and then his heart stopped," his publicist explained what happened. "He was at an event and he was feeling light-headed and dizzy ... They found out there was something wrong with his eye. There was an artery that burst behind it."
