Brie Larson Escapes From Confined Space in 'Room' First Trailer
Movie

Ma (Larson) and her son Jack (Jacob Tremblay) struggle with the world outside after they manage to escape from a ten-by-ten-foot room.

AceShowbiz - The first tailer for family drama "Room" has landed online. Starring Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay, the film tells a story of a young mother and her loving son who have been held captive in a confined space for years.

The trailer opens with Ma (Larson), the young mother, singing a lullaby for her son Jack (Tremblay). Rather than being merely a movie about captive, "Room" is a deeply emotional film which explains how great love of a mother to her child can change life.

Being trapped in a ten-by-ten-foot room, Ma, as a good mother, keeps assuring her son that everything will be alright, eventhough threats sometimes approach them. Jack has spent his entire life in the tiny shed with his mother. As a boy who never sees the world outside, he has to adjust to the environment he never knows existed when his mother finally figures out a way to get them out.

Escaping from the "Room", Ma and Jack struggle with the life as Jack experiences the world for the first time. William H. Macy and Joan Allen appear as the boy's grandparents, hugging him while saying, "Thanks for saving my little girl." At the end of the trailer, there are scenes which show how Jack and his mother spend their life happily in freedom.

"Room" is based on a 2010 best-selling novel by Emma Donoghue, who also helms the film. The film will get a limited U.S. release on October 16 before a nationwide screening on November 6.
