Justin Bieber Defends Kylie Jenner in Her Online Feud With Amandla Stenberg

In the wake of criticism Kylie received for showing off her new cornrows, Justin comments, 'saying she's being racist because she wants her hair in braids is ridiculous.'

Justin Bieber took side in an Instagram feud between Kylie Jenner and Amandla Stenberg over Kylie's new cornrows. The 21-year-old singer defended the youngest daughter of the Jenner-Kardashian family against racism accusation as calling the accusation based on her hair "ridiculous."

Justin wrote on the comment section of Kylie's Instagram picture sporting her cornrows, "Guys, leave her alone, were all trying to figure it out and she happens to be under a microscope!" He continued, "I'm the first to know this. But saying she's being racist because she wants her hair in braids is ridiculous."

The "Beauty and a Beat" singer apparently had a better solution as he invited everyone to do something regarding equality instead of feuding over someone's hair. "Lets focus on the bigger picture and instead of fighting over something stupid lets do something about equality, but it doesn't start here blasting a 17 year-old kid for wearing braids," he said.

Though Amandla didn't continue the feud on Instagram, she apparently addressed the situation further on Twitter. She posted her writing about the double standards between black and white women.

On another post, she wanted the media to stop accusing her as "angry black girl" because what she wanted to do by commenting on Kylie's picture was just to address the double standards issue. It read, "End the 'angry black girl' narrative. It's just another attempt to undermine certain perspectives. I have strong opinions. I am not angry."
