"Once Upon a Time" brought sneak peeks at what's to come in the next installment during San Diego Comic-Con. One video sees Jennifer Morrison's character Emma channeling her Dark Swan while the other introduces another beloved Disney character, Merida from "Brave".

In the Dark Swan teaser, Emma rips out someone's heart and crushes it from the cage where she is locked. In the Merida video, the Scottish princess played by Scottish actress Amy Mason is seen showing off her impressive archery skills before she pulls her hood revealing her fiery red hair.

"I'm really excited, as an actor," Morrison said of her character's transformation. "To be able to start season five of a show doing something brand new is so exciting. I've been so enjoying playing Emma and everything that comes along with it. I get to do something totally new and different ... there's fun to the villainy."

"I spent the whole hiatus digging up my thoughts about it," she continued. "Emma went through a lot in her life, she had a tough childhood, she's always tried to be the bigger person, the good person, and now that she's tethered to the darkness, she has to face some of that ... to truly overcome it versus just repress it."
