Showtime has released the first trailer for its new series "Billions". The show centers on two highly ambitious figures played by Emmy-winning actor Damian Lewis, who also starred in three seasons of "Homeland", and acclaimed actor Paul Giamatti.

Lewis plays a devilishly charming billionaire hedge-fund king, Bobby "Axe" Axelrod. Giamatti, meanwhile, is Chuck Rhoades, a hard-charging, blue-blooded and politically connected U.S. Attorney who is investigating Axe. The two are seen at each other's throat in the video.

Written and executive produced by Brian Koppelman, David Levien and Andrew Ross Sorkin, "Billions" also stars Maggie Siff, Malin Akerman, Toby Leonard Moore, David Costabile and Condola Rashad. Neil Burger directed the pilot and serves as executive producer.

The 12-episode first season of the Wall Street drama will be filmed soon in New York for a 2016 premiere.
