A look at star Patrick Fugit as the major character Kyle Barnes as well as an official poster for the exorcism drama series have landed online.

AceShowbiz - First look at an adaptation of Robert Kirkman's "Outcast" has been obtained in a form of poster. A variant cover for the first issue of the comic book series have been released online, showing star Patrick Fugit recreating the original art.

The first official key art of the Cinemax series has also been unveiled ahead of the show's Comic-Con debut. The poster for the series and the special edition photo variant cover comic will be distributed at Comic-Con International in San Diego. A panel for the show will be held Saturday, July 11 at 3:00 P.M. in Room 6DE.

"Outcast" follows Kyle Barnes (Fugit), "a young man who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now, with the help of the Reverend Anderson (Philip Glenister), a preacher with personal demons of his own, Kyle embarks on a journey to find answers and regain the normal life he lost. But what Kyle discovers could change his fate-and the fate of the world-forever."

Reverend Anderson is described as a possibly delusional preacher, who believes he is a soldier in God's holy war against the forces of evil on Earth. An inveterate drinker and gambler, he doesn't believe God intends us to sweat the small stuff.

Kirkman penned the pilot script and will serve as executive producer for the series along with Chris Black, David Alpert, Sharon Tal Yguado and Sue Naegle. Adam Wingard directed the pilot.

Cinemax has not announced a release date for the exorcism drama.
