AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian and Kanye West apparently had a low-profile celebration for their first wedding anniversary. The power couple hired a private bartender and spent their anniversary on May 24 in their $20-million mansion in Hidden Hills, California.
An insider told Us Weekly that the pair were watching comedy film "Troop Beverly Hills" while a private bartender was at their side to serve them with pina coladas in bed. The pregnant mother opted for a non-alcoholic beverage, coconut water.
While his wife stuck with coconut water, Kanye who is a big fan of the ice cold beverages surely drank the pina colada. He was very fussy about the quality of the beverages. His friend Theophilus Monk said the 38-year-old rapper had been known to "order three drinks because they didn't make it properly...he makes his own menu."
Regarding the celebration, Kanye had previously planned to take Kim to Paris for their first anniversary so they could renew their wedding vows under the Eiffel Tower. However, the plan changed as the reality TV star said she was suffering from severe morning sickness. Back in April, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star also suggested going to Africa for the ocassion. "We were supposed to go to Africa. A good friend got us a safari for our wedding gift. [But] I think we're just going to stay home and chill out," she said.
