Diddy's son takes to Instagram to express how grateful he is for having such a protective father as Diddy, referring to the rapper's actions in UCLA.

AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' son Justin Dior Combs broke his silence after his father's arrest on Monday, June 22, for attacking UCLA footbal coach. Justin took to Instagram on Tuesday, June 23, to express how grateful he was for having Diddy as his father.

Justin posted a picture of him walking alongside his father in a park. The two appeared all smiles in their matching white T-shirts. The UCLA student captioned it, "I thank God for having a father that's always there for me.. Love you pops!"

The caption Justin wrote was apparently to support earlier statement released by Diddy's spokesperson saying that the 45-year-old rapper defended himself and Justin at the time of assault. "The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate," the statement read. "What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son."

Diddy got into an altercation with strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi reportedly because of Sal's unfair treatment to Justin. Diddy who went to the coach's office allegedly swung a kettlebell which almost hit an intern. The coach had scratches on his face and his shirt was torn because of the attack. According to a UCLA press release obtained by PEOPLE, "No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating." Diddy has been released from police custody after posting a bail just hours following his arrest at UCLA.
