Nina Dobrev and her new boyfriend Austin Stowell's relationship is getting serious. On Tuesday night, June 16, the actress brought the "Bridge of Spies" actor to the screening of her new movie "The Final Girls" in Los Angeles.

According to eyewitness, the new couple was seen getting touchy-feely during the event. Austin was said staying close to Nina while walking the red carpet. The pair were even caught holding hands as Nina introduced Austin to her co-stars.

"He called Nina 'babe' and gently put an arm around her waist," the eyewitness told Us Weekly about the twosome.

Nina, who sizzled in a Monique Lhuilluier embroidered red dress, also came to the event with some friends. "I'm actually nervous that I brought all my friends to the screening today," Nina told reporters. "A lot of my friends came today, and we're going to sit and watch it. They're going to be the harshest critics of anyone, ever. My mom actually would be the worst, but she's not here."

Departing The CW's "The Vampire Diaries" in May, Nina revealed she's now more interested in film projects. "I think six years was a really long time and now that that chapter's over, I'm looking forward to exploring new opportunities and trying different things," so she shared.

"So maybe for now I'm not saying never - never say never. But for now, yeah, I'm going to try doing film and doing different kinds of roles, maybe," she added. "Hopefully an action, drama, period piece. Basically anything that I haven't done, I'm going to try and tackle for the challenge of it."
