Two notable Marvel superheroes who haven't been enlisted to appear in the upcoming pic "Captain America: Civil War" are Mark Ruffalo's Hulk and Chris Hemsworth's Thor. Earlier this month, a rumor said that Hulk would be involved in "Civil War". The rumor seems to get a confirmation as Ruffalo said that his co-star, Robert Downey Jr., told him that Hulk would be in "Civil War".

In an interview with HitFix, Ruffalo said he didn't officially know if he would be in the film, but his pal told him the plan. "If Robert Downey Jr. says I'm in Captain America, I'm in Captain America, dammit," Ruffalo said. "And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up on my doorstep or my script," he continued.

The actor also said that he had not been contacted by anyone from the production as of yet. "At this point, I'm told that I'm in it by Robert, which I'll take as biblical, but I just haven't heard or seen from production yet," he explained.

Meanwhile, actor William Hurt was reported to reprise his role as General "Thunderbolt" Ross in the upcoming flick. There will be reportedly a fight between Hulk and Red Hulk in the film that is supposed to rival the Hulkbuster fight from "Avengers: Age of Ultron".

In other news, Anthony Mackie was recently spotted on "Captain America: Civil War" set. Several set photos indicate that the scene was set at Institute For Infectious Diseases which could be used as a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. base.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, "Captain America: Civil War" is scheduled for a U.S. release on May 6, 2016. The film also stars Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Don Cheadle as War Machine and Emily VanCamp as Agent 13.
