The former 'Cosby Show' star says that she is 'so happy' to permanently join the all-female panel on the ABC talk show.

AceShowbiz - Raven-Symone has landed a permanent spot on "The View". Whoopi Goldberg announced the new addition to the ABC show during the latest episode, ''We are happy to announce Raven-Symone is now permanently part of 'The View'."
"I am so happy. I remember coming on 'The View' when I was 15 years old for the first Cheetah Girls. I'm very happy to be sitting with these smart, talented mentors," Symone herself said when she showed up in front of audience. "You guys, let's have some fun."
Raven-Symone, a former child actress who shot to fame on "The Cosby Show", appeared as co-hosts on the show several times before since Rosie O'Donnell left her post in February.
Creator and executive producer Barbara Walters said in a statement, ''Raven-Symone is a welcome addition to 'The View'. She is happy, amusing and well informed, and has already brought a unique perspective to the program that has resonated with our audience."
